Do note that trapdoors do not block a villagers pathfinding AI from thinking it can reach other jobsites nearby despite it physically blocking the villager from mooving through.Īlso, there are a couple of bugs in the game, one that allows multiple villagers being attached to the same jobsite, one that causes jobless villagers to be able to steal jobsites from skilled villagers and one that allows cured villagers who have already been skille in claiming the wrong type of jobsite.Ī couple of other issues you should be aware of. The best way to cycle through a villagers available trades is to lock it in a room with no exits and then continously placing and breaking a jobsite next to it within the workhours until the desired trades show up. But a villager who have not been traded with can only loose its profession if it cant detect its jobsite during its workhours which are between 2000-9000 gametick (8am-3pm) outside this timeframe they will maintain their profession despite the jobsite block missing.
